    Awesome guide c0ke!!!
    can I make a suggestion?
The LD-50 of psilocin is only compared to other illicit drugs in the guide, it might give the reader a bit of perspective to see it compared to the LD-50 of a popular drug, like alcohol or nicotine or a pharmaceutical?
keep up the good work! :-)

    **EDIT**
just did a quick search, might wanna double check these, but...

Nicotine ~ 50mg/kg (popular legal drug)
    DDT ~ 87mg/kg (insecticide)
    Psilocin ~ 280mg/kg ("brain food")

These are the substance's LD-50 in RATS

when swim started picking shrooms he mistook cyans for ugly looking subs. it would have been helpful to have known the differences between these 2 species beforehand as cyans are alot more potent than subs.

There is lots of speculation as to whether Psilocybe cyanescens grow in NZ. There has not been enough study and taxonomy done to differentiate the many species and sub-species of Psilocybe mushrooms that grow here. For arguments sake you are better to use the broader Psilocybe subaerudinosa to label most variants until more conclusive studies are done.

    Hi guys,

Just an update on the guide.

    Changes include:
    • General cleanup
    • Added examples of visuals
    • Added spore printing page
    • Added info on 8 deadly and poisonous impostors (including pictures)
    • Added further reading and resources page

It is still a draft, but check out the pdf here: https://mega.co.nz/#!rI4gUTwR!X5y25n...ByzyV-AhLP3tkc
Note: The download from filedropper will expire in about 30 days.

I was going to upload it as an attachment also but it didn't work on Firefox or Chrome.

This should be a very helpful resource for next season.
If anyone has any suggestion feel free to post them here.

P.S. c0ke, let me know what you think? I can send you the pptx if you want.

    Cheers
    knexi.
