    no cos if they did have blue bruising they most likely wouldnt be a lookalike.......

    been seeing these look alikes that have almost the exact same cap as a p.sub and grow in the same enviroment sometimes close to the patch, but the mushrooms them selves are much smaller and the stem is quite thin similar to those ones that grow on grass lawns

    ^^ iv seen those ones grow in the same patch as p.sub , like right next to them so be careful with these . for that particular patch that has ones like those growing right by p.subs, i always check the gills as they arent the creamy colour of p.subs

    Thanks for the pic, knexi! I've often seen these around whilst hunting and been concerned about inexperienced shroomers that haven't done their research. I usually rip them out and dump them in an obvious spot, and hope people aren't stupid enough to think someone would just pick legit mushies and leave them lying around in plain sight.. Still, you never do know =\

    There was a couple of other Mushrooms I have seen around that could be classed as similar looking.
    I just cant find out what they are.

    If I find out I will post them on here.
