    Thank you! these were grown by inoculating a jar of rye grains that had been sterilised with a pressure cooker. The jar was incubated at 25 to 30 C for about 2.5 weeks. Once the rye was completely colonised it was spread out in the tray and cased with a peat moss and vermiculite mixture. It was incubated for a couple more days then transferred to a humidity tent and left to fruit, which takes about a week and a half. The tek used is bit of a mash-up from the more popular ones found on The Shroomery

    thanks guys. spores are available on the net from various vendors, the shroomery sponsor list is a good place to start as they are some of the longest running and most reputable suppliers. There doesn\'t appear to be any specific ban on spores in NZ as far as I know but no doubt MAF or customs would confiscate them were they intercepted.
