* Habitat Found in a field on a huge pile of horse shit around Manawatu. Been rainy the last couple of days.
* Characteristics of the gills Dark brown/black on the long skinny ones, white/cream on the small orange one
* Characteristics of the stem Long and skinny on most of them, thick and tough on the orange one
* Characteristics of the cap Conical and brown/blue
* Spore print color Haven't done one yet
* Color that the mushroom bruises Blue/Purple
* Scent of the mushroom Mushroomy
* Anything else you might find important Found around the a lot of other types of mushrooms on this pile of horse shit (or what I assume is horse shit) in a field. Surrounded by pine forest and native bush

you are a few months early so from that alone id be very surprised. some of them look like liberty caps but I personally would not try them as they could be anything. as for the bruising doesnt look like the blue you get when you find the good ones. let me know how they went

Nah none of these are active, something from the mycena family. mycena filopes for example. librerty caps have a white stope and a nipple on the top xxxx
