P.weraroa Identification.
Image: http://imgur.com/IyMLPnF
Habitat: In thick layer of pine needles
Characteristics of the gills: Dark brown gills,
Characteristics of the stem: longest 7cm, width 4mm, white bruising dark brown with shades of dark green and blue, stem hollow.
Characteristics of the cap: Pouch fungi, largest 1.6x3cm, creme/pale blue, smooth, spherical, one irregular hook shaped.
Spore print color: I was unable to obtain a spore print.
Color that the mushroom bruises: Dark blue and green bruising, not at all sites of physical stress, stem bruising brown with sites of blue and dark green bruising.
Scent of the mushroom: Earthy sweet.
I have identified P.weraroa in past but these are larger than I am used to and the habitat I found them in is not consistent with past finds.Last edited by Jinglejang; 28-06-2017 at 03:17 PM.

Sure look much more like P. weraroa than Clavogaster virescens. Longest stipes I've ever seen
