Default First timer Identifying mushrooms in the garden

    Hi there

    Are these psilocybe subaeruginosa?

I found mushrooms in the garden after the week of rain we've had and they have bluish marks on them, I wonder if they are magic mushrooms. What do you think, are these imposters or genuine? Check out the link for my pictures.

I read a little already and although blue marks can be an indicator of magic mushrooms, if they are there before picking they can be an indicator of an imposter.

    Thanks.

Remember to always do a spore print and make sure theres blue bruising even if a pro comes along and deems them actives, theres nothing worse than tripping your nuts off and at the same time spazzing out thinking they could ve wrong i know from experiance

I left them in a container over night and a spore print appeared without me even meaning to do it. It was more towards pink than purple but I guess it was a pinkish purple spore print.

uh, weird about the spore print, cos they definitely look like subs. did every single one bruise blue?

also what kinda container did you leave them in overnight? should definitely be kept in a paper bag in the fridge until/unless you dry them. happy shrooming

Left them in a plastic take away container. I think they are subs. They bruised blue, they look like the images i found on mushroom I'd Nz book. The spore prinT was kind of purple but I'm not really sure what tone of purple it should be.

Here is a link with some images of spore prints. The spore prints are very bad because these occured by accident, but anyway hopefully someone will know if these prints from subs or not. Also the colour may not be totally accurate when taking photos of them.

    Thanks for all your help.
