    Question ID Please Palmerston North



    Help, picked these at a spot i used to pick at alot, but never seen them before and help or knowledge would be much appreciated! thank you

    * Habitat: Palmerston north new zealand, found growing in bark covered soil.
    * Characteristics of the gills: light brown
    * Characteristics of the stem: some long thin stems some thicker stems 2-4cm in length, 3-10mm thick , really light brown almost white, some with orange stains, hollow.
    * Characteristics of the cap: bright orange brown, diameter 1-2cm, smooth feel, some convex and some more knobbed.
    * Color that the mushroom bruises: browny orange
    * Scent of the mushroom: like earth
