Ok so im a first time hunter and season is around the corner.

So if i go pick some, what kind of bag do i put them in?
last time i bought mushrooms they went black and had no effect. they were in plastic bags.

    Should i use paper bags?

Yea man use paper bags, plastic makes them go all sweaty and yuk. Just head to your local super market and score some of their mushroom bags from the produce department :P

Paper is better short term, but they shouldn't be inactive from storage alone in a plastic bag. Think you were ripped? Anyway, fungus is sensitive, and the actives are indeed unstable, so air, light, heat free enviroments are best storage. In an airtight vacuum sucked bag, in the freezer, will last longest. This is in the range of years and years.

Still that wouldn't effect your freshly brought bag. Shrooms last a while with some potency, even if diminished from poor storage.

yea man. last year swim had about 100 ps.subs in a plastic container were stored in there for about 3 or so months and although not looking the best, they still gave the desired effect . just had 2 add a cupl more into the tea. swim was still a happy camper.

Really? Has anybody actually done this? So a vacuum sealed bag in the freezer would last until the next season.. that is awesome if that is the case.

spent a couple hours wandering in the bush yesterday between horikiwi and wellington. didn't expect to find much considering it has not been that wet lately, but stumbled upon these little beauties and found a total of 32.
