i want to Edit some of the guide, because according to the information and papers ive read Copelandia Cyanescens (blue meanies) dont grow outdoors in NZ(esp not NewPlymouth)

and the bit about ps.aucklandii staining blue/green(they stain Blue)...ive picked thousands of these in my youth and only 1nce consumed some that stained green and almost died(literally)...im very sceptical/wary!!!

But,at the moment at least its a guide with photos and habitat info etc...

what i'l do is collaborate it and post it in the mod section so you can edit it before the rest see it. Once posted in the normal section people can pm me/report the post and say what they would like changed.

if the guide is awesome enough could use it as advertising material on other drug/shroom related sites to generate traffic here.

ugh sad thing is that if u make a mistake in picking them, its likly to kill ya....
thats the only thing putting me off looking for them, i would rather wait and pick them with a guide who knows what hes looking for than go out looking for shrooms that i have nvr truly seen in real life

    Weed in NZ
Subs seem to be the most common in auckland for sure. Theyre called gold caps for a reason though. If you've got a desk lamp put them in between two paper towels under intense light for an hour or so immediately after picking (i.e. push the lamp bulb up nice and close, but not too close so as to catch fire to the paper). After some exposure to the heat of the lamp they'll dry out and the cap will literally turn into a reflective gold color. I dont know if any other mushrooms also do this but I wouldn't have thought so given that they usually vary in color even slightly and that shiny gold is very distinct
