I tried these pills recently on two occasions. For those that don’t know the PEA/hordenine pills are a little different from the straight dmaa based ones, and much newer on the market. I’ll write a bit of a background on PEA at the end of this review, so people know how all that works, and what it is.

Redd Hearts are a strong pill for the current market, and I’ve friends that have found them decent too, so if you haven't heard of these types of pills (PEA based), or tried them, read on.

Well this week I tried Speed, by Future Highs. It's the straight energy version of Red E. I thought I'd put it to the test by doing a bunch of chores to see if it gave me a boost.

The first thing I noticed was this pill feels more focused mentally than any other dmaa pill I've tried. Its more of a straight stimulant feeling. Yes, there's still body warmth, chattiness and music appreciation, but generally its more pure energy.

I got a whole load of work done, which is really something for someone as lazy as me. There was a fair amount of pep in me, I buzzed around doing stuff for quite awhile. When I finally got everything done, I sat and had just one small bourbon and cola. This one drink made the buzz warmer and more relaxed.

Overall, this seems to be a good pill for more general stimulant use. You know, staying up late, working, doing chores, exercise, going out. Because its more mentally focused than similar pills, you can use it in those situations very easily, without feeling too out of it, or being distracted. It will put a lot more "go" in you than an energy drink, for sure.

1 red and white capsule, no discernable smell, taken @ 7:15 (Two hours after eating)

T+20, some stimulation felt, and some also some head/body relaxation and mild head change

T+40, relaxation increases, smoothing out stimulation, but more energy is apparent (increased moving around). Slight light-headedness and mood improvement. All mild, but pleasant.

Mild head buzz and light -headedness more noticeable with movement.

T+60, little more light-headed buzz, body feels light, and stimulation/relaxation still present.

Music appreciation increased very nicely, good up feeling with some dance music, endurance and ease of movement increased, with dance music these pills nicest elements come out - would be a little booster on a night out dancing, increases urge to talk/do - definitely more “up”.

Party pills in NZ changed a lot since they banned BZP. Now, rather than a single synthetic, like BZP, we get a host of natural extracts working together in each pill.
